What does it really mean these days to be educated?
Things more too quickly not to be a lifetime learner. We should be focusing more and more on learning strategies, incorporating methods of updating what we know.

It should be easy, if nor effortless to coast the wave of of a field as it progresses. We need a recipe for universal education, one that incorporates networks of knowledge...


@Irick Education in general needs to catch up with the fact that information is everywhere at our finger tips. We need to change it to teaching critical thinking, and being able to check sources and make sure that the information is reliable and trustworthy. Teach people the skills of how to make sure that the information is accurate feels like step one, then it's just a matter of being able to encourage seeking out knowledge when presented with something seemingly unknown.
